Known locally as pitahaya, Ecuador’s dragon fruit thrives in the country’s rich volcanic soils and equatorial climate, which give it its vibrant color, balanced sweetness, and superior shelf life. Available in both yellow (Selenicereus megalanthus) and red (Hylocereus spp.) varieties, this exotic fruit is rich in antioxidants, vitamins C and B, fiber, and natural prebiotics, making it a favorite among health-conscious consumers worldwide.
Our fruits range from 160 g to 500 g (calibers 5–16). The high season runs from January–February and September–December, with a regular season in March, July, August, and November.

In our fields nature sets the rhythm — and our growers lead the way. At Aligned Markets, we work for the farmers, supporting those who cultivate with care, integrity, and respect for the land. Together, we ensure that no harsh chemicals or pesticides touch the soil — only sun, water, and human dedication.
We stand beside the best local growers, helping them reach global markets while preserving their sustainable and responsible farming traditions.
