Our projects are designed to create long-term social, economic, and environmental value by combining local opportunity with global standards. From sustainable agriculture to education and international collaboration, each initiative is grounded in impact.
The World Biodiversity Center in Quito offers a unique platform for education, conservation, and cross-border partnerships, while our Tropical Fruit Value Added Processing Plant is expected to generate measurable benefits for local communities. Meanwhile, our direct distribution model for World-class Confectionery Chocolate is designed to return a greater share of revenue to cacao farmers in rural Ecuador.

Ecuadorian chocolatiers are redefining the industry by crafting world-class chocolate right at the source — near the very farms where the cocoa is grown. Over the past two decades, Ecuador has emerged as a center of excellence in fine chocolate making, combining local knowledge with international expertise. Today, it no longer makes sense to export raw cocoa to Europe for processing when premium-quality chocolate is being produced locally. We're proud to bring these exceptional products directly to bakeries and chocolatiers across Canada and the United States.
Ecuador is a country blessed by sun and fertile lands, which has historically allowed it to produce premium quality products. It has been the world's top exporter of cocoa, bananas, and shrimp. Now other tropical fruits are being produced for export and the quality obtained is outstanding. Often though, producers can not find good markets. To assist on this, Aligned-Markets has designed a project for a packaging plant to use advanced treament methods such as MAP (modified atmospshere packaging) and that is located less than a half hour from Quito's International Airport.
